The construction process immediately affects our environment. In our days, being confronted with the climate crisis, the threat to biodiversity and environmental pollution this fact is more present than ever before. At LEONHARD WEISS this conscience is already stated in our mission statement since 1989. Social responsibility us also means responsibility for our surroundings – the environment – in which we live. Immediately on site at the construction site we are part of it. According to our set of values we don‘t only want to work outside, but in accordance with nature.

LEONHARD WEISS has defined its objective, to reduce the environmental stress generated by business activities. It is our highest priority to combine ecology and economy by means of environmental management.

In order to achieve this objective, we regularly analyse and evaluate our environmental activities. We use the requirements of the standard ISO 14001 as guidelines.A central part of the environmental management system is the detection, evaluation, and classification of environmental aspects, as well as their potential environmental effects. On this basis, measures are developed in order to reduce them.
