Reliability on the road and on the track
Road-rail excavators are the all-rounders of the construction site and have been developed specifically for use on the track. They combine wheeled excavator technology with the latest know-how for railway applications. They ensure high performance - even with difficult track conditions. Depending on requirements, they can drive on roads or on tracks. They are therefore suitable for a variety of work in track construction, such as excavation of soil, grading the track, laying sleepers and putting down rails and ballasting.
Liebherr A 900-ZW / A922 rail
We currently have at our disposal more than 50 road-rail excavators of type Liebherr A900 C, Liebherr A922 Rail with SMP or Likufix SW-33 quick-change systems as well as WackerNeuson 8003 ZW mini excavators. We have various attachments for our road-rail excavator fleet for the effective and time-saving completion of track work. These are, for example, suction boxes, ballast tamping attachment assemblies, different pile driving systems and drills, magnets, hedge shears, hydraulic rock breakers, pallet forks, sleeper changers, sleeper loading and sleeper laying grippers, etc.
The standard equipment for ZW excavators includes sleeper spacing grippers, 60 grippers, pivotable ditch cleaning bucket or rotator with Swedish shovel. If necessary, any other attachment can be temporarily retrofitted and connected to the respective ZW-excavator. We place great emphasis on the training of our highly motivated operator personnel.
