Almost forgotten, the Donelli gantry crane system is rapidly regaining importance in track construction and track renewal. The Donelli bridges the gap between simple track construction with the support of road-rail excavators and sophisticated assembly line technology with high-performance track renewal technology.

The cost-effective track preparation and conversion system is particularly suitable for converting tight radii that are not suitable for conversion trains or for track preparation when no old track is available for conversion trains, but at the same time daily outputs must be achieved that cannot be achieved with two-way excavator technology. The system is equipped with diesel particulate filters for use in tunnels.
